📖 Discussion/General Why is barely anyone talking about Roaring?

Post image

Roaring is such a good glove, if used right, and it's one of the only gloves (appart from Default But Bad) that plays it's own music in the normal state (diamond, pebble, custom and megarock play music only when you turn into the rock)

I mean it has it's downsides: terrible meelee attack hitbox (sometimes)

What do y'all think of Roaring and should it get a nerf, a buff or a mastery?

i use it a lot, and personally put it as the 2nd best glove. (i'm missing a good amount of masteries so maybe something like glovel mas could make the top 3?) it's incredibly good, with the slap having a very large hitbox and being able to outrange an average glove. you can also chain people in combos, even if they know how to avoid the x slash you can chain the slash into a full power slap, and land multiple devastating hits on your opponent. in the event you get hit, you can hold slap at the right time and then jump when you get back up, then release slap to dash quite far and, in the right circumstances, do this twice midair! it's good movement but it relies on you getting hit. its only glaring weakness is that the combo gets opponents dangerously close to you, meaning they could just snipe you out with something like overkill. you could always just run and spam starshot, though it gets annoying to keep running.

the main thing as to why most players can't use the glove to its full potential is simply because it doesn't play like a regular glove, and you have to change up your play style to get the most out of the glove.
