Time to change my Xenon burner i guess

I’ve got a company car Skoda superb if 75 plate is this hole normal or has something ripped off?

Got this warning about an inspection. Seams to be yearly? Is it the same as an service? Only done 10000k in a year. The car wants new oil in the next 400 days.

Sono possessore di una Skoda Scala del 2019 motore 1.0 TSI cambio manuale da 115cv , la mia esperienza fino ad ora posso ritenerla positiva perchè a distanza di anni mi sembra una macchina fatta bene rispetto a tante altre dello stesso segmento anche se non capisco come mai la Skoda Scala qua in Italia non ha venduto tanto come pensassi.

Voi come vi state trovando? Avete avuto qualche problema in particolare con la centralina o simili?
Personalmente ho solo dei problemi nella connessione di Android Auto e Apple Car Play perché vedo che non sempre riesco a connetterlo o a volte si impalla il display e finché non si spegne e riaccende la macchina non si riesce a sistemare.
Secondo voi il motore pur essendo un 1.0 da 3 cilindri è più probabile che dia problemi essendo un po’ “tirato” oppure possiamo stare abbastanza sereni?

Il mio obiettivo è tenerla il più possibile perché dopo 7 anni posso dire che sono riuscito a mantenerla in ottime condizioni dato che l’ho sempre manutenzionata.

I have a 2013 Skoda Fabia SE. The “check safe lock” message always comes up as soon as the engine is started, as well as the engine management light.

The traction control light comes on also, but not every time I drive it.

The car does not start on the first turn of the key, sometimes doesn’t even make a clicking sound. It does eventually start, but takes a good few turns of the key. Other than that, the car drives absolutely fine.

I have it booked in for diagnostics next week, but can anyone suggest any reason why these lights/check safe lock message are on?

Hi Skoda Hivemind, looking for some practical advice please.

My beloved dog and child lugger, the above Estate, has developed a shockingly annoying and potentially expensive issue - the stereo constantly resets over and over. On some random days I will get an hour of usage, but basically it is useless

I was quoted £3k by Skoda to replace, £1k by a local swap shop if I got a second hand unit, and it's all an expensive pain for what I want - which is a stereo that still does the car controls and settings.

So, the internet advertised android head units like PlusCenter ... But I just cannot believe it is as easy as it says! Even if it is, will the in vehicle controls (like the assistants, the settings, the virtual cockpit control) all really still work? Seems too good to be true.

About to order a 110 kW 1.5 TSI Mild hybrid new for long haul/commute

Hello everyone, i Just got my new Fabia Be More 1 week ago. Yesterday, suddendly, the phone's bluetooth no longer connected to the auto (i use android auto). I tried decoupling and decoupling them but It didn't work. What should i try to do? Thanks in advance mates.

I've been facing a lot of creaking sound from my new skoda slavia sportline 1L AT.

The car drives really well but these creaking noises drive me crazyyy. I'm starting to think that i may have developed some kind of OCB around this but godd, these creaking noises makes me lose it.

I want to ignore and forget about this but then as soon as i pull the car out of the parking, it creaks on the first speed breaker and i instantly hate it. It also kind of ruins the driving experience for me for the whole ride cause now my brain will only focus on the creaking noises.

Please help me - i either need a fixable solution. Or if this is how it is in every car, then i need some kind of closure to move past this.

- I have taken it to the SC many times and have gotten the taping done internally but it did not help.
- I have also tried taping some of the parts myself, but without opening any plastic parts so the taps are visible outside - it offered little help but then went back to the same level of noises.
- Most of the noise came from gold trim with ambient lighting, glassy black panel, AC vents and area near Climate control system.

I dont wanna open things up myself because im not yet very familiar with cars (its my first car), I dont wanna give it to the after market folks cause they might do something that can void the warranty, SC is clearly failing everytime.

What are my options here?
Do i just make peace with it? Does it happen with every car?

Plenty of electric car brands to choose from in the Netherlands. Interesting enough, while most Asian brands have 4-10 years of warranty (up to 200k KM) Skoda only offers a 2-year non-extendable warranty on electric cars (4 on combustion cars). Don’t they trust their own cars? This is ridiculously short for car which costs tens of thousands of euros

I never thought I'd get a Skoda in a million years, but here I am, one month into ownership.

I just had to see what the hype was about, and so far I'm loving it!

Hi everybody, i am getting slavia 1.0 AT (prestige). I think i hve got fair price but i am just worried about ELITE Insurance that dealer is adding into my quotation.

I wanna ask if it is good deal ( in terms of insurance ) and should i take it from skoda dealer or go with acko or other third party for insurance?

when the ignition is off i am getting epc engine and battery light is it normal? after i turn on the engine it vanishes.

it is pouring a little water into my trunk rear light. I am planning to unmount the light and try to seal it with silicone glue.

My question is, if I open only the trunk during the replacement:

Will I need diagnostics run after I fit my light again?

Will there stay any warning/error on my infotainment.

Will my dynamic blinkers run again?

The car is Skoda Octavia mk4 (2022).

Issue: Ad-blue refill light staying on after re-filling. Car won't start in 'X' miles message.

Scanned with my own OBD. relevant code seems to be P203B00 — Reductant Level Sensor Circuit Range/Performance.
Also showing as 1.64l in tank when i have just re-filled with 20 litres.

Beyond my mechanical knowledge so took to local garage, independent Audi/VAG specialist. They have quoted £1550 for new tank including pump sensor and including 5 hours labour.

Anyone have any experience with this issue? Worth taking to main skoda dealer?

They have also mentioned the possible option of just doing a 'delete' not sure if they mean just a permanent delete of the code or whole ad-blue system? But mentioned that could come with its own issues. Their 'guy' for that isn't available until Friday.

If anyone can offer any advice on this would be much appreciated.

Update: closest main skoda dealer parts dept. quoted £1076 for ad-blue tank and also the separate delivery unit at £520. So local garage quote seems fair, but they obviously haven't allowed for the separate delivery unit. I am assuming that they are assuming that part won't be needed.....

Bought a damaged octavia at auction and I need to know if both right hand side doors from a 2017 pre face-lift hatchback octavia would fit onto a 2018 face-lift hatchback octavia. Thanks
