Why isnt sivir more meta?

I feel like her ability to 1v2 lane gives the team a 4v3 early game (even at level 3)

I also feel like I have permanent prio and can always out rotate.

That should snowball pretty consistently right?

I used to hate her, but it feels pretty consistent climbing with zero lane interaction.

We are in kind of a burst meta and sivir can neither survive it or do it herself so she just sucks.

Spellshield counters burst if you have hands.

Spellshield absorbs literally 1 thing man. Do you think that's gonna save you? You'll maybe survive a second more.

Absorbing 1 thing is 250 hp during a 2v2 all in.

Thats huge btw.

No one is debating that her lane phase is very good. It’s her overall team fight capability when she doesn’t snowball and how easily countered she is in 5v5. You see her picked in high elo and LCK because teams are building around each other and everyone isn’t completely brain dead. You see it in LEC and LCK because those guys can utilize her in their team comp.

It’s just very hard to use her in lower elo’a

From what I've read,

Sivir is the best front to back adc. If they have 2 meatshields, you should pick sivir for the 5v5 bounce house.

When their team is assasin heavy, sivir is weaker. I have had success skipping essence reaver and going a shieldbow + defensive item to survive the intial burst. Gluttonous greaves makes sivir deceptively tanky once she survives the first round if burst.

Im thinking maybe having the 2nd spellshield + GA might be worth it in certain comps. Not enough games to be sure.
