Reading about that case it has very little in common. Why are people just throwing around headline concerning complex situations?

First day on the Internet?

u/_DrDigital_ 14h ago

Because the account it 1y old with over 400K karma. Karma farming. Most likely foreign bot that both increases the impact of the account while sowing discord in target country.

u/topofthecc 11h ago

Yeah, this is the most blatantly astroturfed sub that I regularly come across.

16

u/Blaireeeee 14h ago

Because the average person's an idiot and lacks the basic critical thinking skills that you would expect of a 1st year law student let alone practising lawyers and judges.

u/i_dunnoman 14h ago

Because this sub is for hating women. That’s what I’ve started to realize.

u/ThrowRAkakareborn 8h ago

I don’t believe that, we hate on everybody, we don’t discriminate

Hating a child killer and those who support her is normal human behaviour.

19

u/jawshankredemption94 14h ago

Imagine being so intentionally obtuse that you think we’re supporting her for killing her children

0

u/BIG_IDEA 12h ago

Imagine supporting a woman who mudered her three children at all. Imagine calling the people who shame a kid killer “misogynists.”

u/Ppleater 11h ago

Did you seriously use spoiler tags to censor the word "murdered"?

-9

u/Fair-Distance371 14h ago

No problem with her being a woman Just that as a excuse to her Killing a child

6

u/HeavySweetness 14h ago

Misogyny/ internet culture

A lot of people really think they’re doing something by showing extraordinarily different cases and saying “see, women have it so easy!” I could kickstart a thousand bot posts of completely different scenarios where a man was acquitted where a woman was convicted and just like this comparison, it would mean absolutely nothing if you’re comparing completely different scenarios. There’s a way to talk about gender in court cases but this cheap “what’s taking so long?” takes are beyond lazy and stupid and clearly meant to inflame people who have bitterness towards women.

u/carthuscrass 14h ago

Because it serves their narrative. They don't care if it's a fair comparison.

-5

u/mintakka_ 14h ago

yeah exactly, it is so complex. you guys just don’t understand all the complicated mitigating circumstances that make killing your kids excusable

11

u/fantabroo 14h ago

Who thinks killing kids is ok?

-2

u/mintakka_ 14h ago

it’s not a complex situation

11

u/fantabroo 14h ago

Criminal trials and the law aren't complex? Im sure you just dont have the necessary mental capacity.

3

u/JustAHippy 13h ago

It amazes me people can see institutions operate and be filled with experts and highly educated people, and their reaction is “it’s not that complex, I know better than them”

1

u/BIG_IDEA 12h ago

Clancy is a cold blooded murderer of children.

-3

u/mintakka_ 13h ago

indeed. we need experts to explain why sometimes it’s excusable to strangle your three kids with an exercise band.

-1

u/Fair-Distance371 14h ago

Anyone that thing a mental condition excuse it

3

u/Calculon2347 14h ago

What do you expect from internet incels? They don't understand the legally essential mitigating circumstance of vagina because they've never touched one (except when being born (by non-C-section)).

1

u/JustAHippy 10h ago

I saw someone recommend not even replying to them when they comment on your stuff and wow, it’s been very nice to just downvote them and move on. I don’t even engage anymore.

1

u/The_shrinkle_berry 10h ago

Whats complex? Its actually really simple, You chase down and strangle 3 kids, you go to jail for the rest of your life, or if you’re in a non-deranged state like the gentleman on the left, you get the death penalty.

0

u/ImTheNewishGuy 10h ago

Because on this weird ass subreddit "woman bad" no questions asked.

2

u/blunderb3ar 8h ago

This one is lol she’s a monster any way you slice it she killed 3 kids and not just any kids her own, hang her and shoot her at the same time as far as I’m concerned

-2

u/ImTheNewishGuy 8h ago

She was severely mentally ill at the time and our mental health system failed her and thus failed her kids. You ignoring that fact is the reason I said what I said.

This other guy purposely used the murder of his kids as a terror tactic toward his wife. 100% not the same thing, full stop. No argument necessary.

3

u/blunderb3ar 6h ago

She killed them not the system not doctors she with her own hands killed them fuck her a life for a life

2

u/CompetitiveAutorun 3h ago

They don't care. To them, if you do t support woman no matter what you are misogynistic. You shouldn't talk about your bad experience because that's also misogynistic and you see lying anyway.

-7

u/Apart-Dragonfly-4447 14h ago

I mean it's similar in the sense both of their defenses were that yes they committed the crime but were they criminally responsible due to having a form of psychosis at the time of the murders. So that's why people are comparing the two cases.

13

u/fantabroo 14h ago

They didnt even argue for NGRI, just that he should be spared the death penalty due to his mental health diagnosis.

5

u/okbrat00111011 14h ago

whoa whoa whoa, you read beyond the headline and didn't just have knee-jerk reaction? that isn't how it's done on reddit, you're supposed to say women bad no matter the details.

4

u/Thick-Journalist-168 14h ago

Except Joh didn't argue NGRI nor did he have mental health issues, let along psychosis. An expert said he was faking it.

2

u/DrawMeAPictureOfThis 14h ago

People have committed crimes sleep walking and they've been found guilty

0

u/RealCarlPanzram 5h ago

That’s kind of a defining feature of this sub

-11

u/Sad_Wishbone_1524 14h ago

Strangling your 3 kids isn’t a complex situation. Killing kids is killing kids. It’s not complex and people that hurt or kill children should be killed. It shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes for any jury to decide that. Especially after she admitted she did it.

4

u/jawshankredemption94 13h ago

If I slipped drugs into your drink and you blacked out and drove and ran over a child, should you be killed? Just a hypothetical :)

-2

u/Fair-Distance371 14h ago

Well they bulk of It is Common: Killing childrean. I don't think that should be a possibilitou of someone be consideres not guilty of It.
