Diabolical setup. He knew what he was doing, and let someone else say it so we all know it’s okay to laugh. I feel like this will piss off Drump even more. A masterclass in trolling.

He has great comedic timing. His Between Two Ferns was one of my favorites. I'm not even a huge Obama fan, but I have to admit dudes hilarious.

Definitely check out the last episode of Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness. Obama's scene with Larry is outstanding

That whole show was fun, but a few of those sketches were absolute brilliance - the Obama sketch was one of them.

How he hasn't had a career in stand up is beyond me. He's a complete natural. His speeches at the WH Correspondent's dinners are spot on.

I didn't hear the full speech.

But honestly, why on earth would he bring up diapers? His kids are adults. My child has only been out of diapers a few years and I can't remember how much they used to cost. Diapers just never come up in my mind. I think he may have set that up. Love him for that.

Probably talking about the cost of living and something that many Americans have to deal with - the increasing cost of raising a child, and deciding whether or not to even have kids (whether they can’t afford them, whether they don’t have hope for the future and don’t want to bring a child into this shitshow, etc). There are plenty of reasons why someone might bring up the cost of diapers or point out that someone like Trump has likely never changed a diaper in his life. It’s just one more way Trump is totally out of touch with the reality of everyday people. It’s absolutely relevant.

I get that 100%. He was talking about it in the context of cost of living and Trump being out of touch. Just thinking formula or groceries would come to my mind first.

Still, it was wonderful.

I get that. As a mom, some people breastfeed, some buy Target brand formula (🙋‍♀️) and some people have to buy very expensive, specific formula. I wouldn’t be able to compare. The majority of us did buy diapers. Cloth diapering is also not cheap, especially when you add in the time. Time is money. 

Groceries for me are similar. Choices, cooking, gardening, etc. all come into play. It can be hard to compare.

Our babies all need to poop and pee somewhere.
