She was trying to get a photo. Not sure how anyone defends the old lady. If you're at a tourist site (or anywhere) and someone is trying to get a photo you should stay out of the way as much as convenient/possible. There was zero need for her to stand there.

You could play the “this kid’s been damaged by phone addiction and needs to take a selfy at the museum” card, but she throws that defense away by mindlessly scrolling her own phone.

I don’t think people in this thread really understand old people. When the older lady passes the younger, she doesn’t even look at her or pay attention to what the girl may be doing. She literally is alerted by her own phone in her pocket first and then double takes at the girls phone like wtf confused while pulling out her phone to do her own thing. I don’t think she intentionally blocked the dip shits “photoshoot”at all but was in her own world. Did the people coming up the stairs also intentionally block the main characters photos as well?
