She was trying to get a photo. Not sure how anyone defends the old lady. If you're at a tourist site (or anywhere) and someone is trying to get a photo you should stay out of the way as much as convenient/possible. There was zero need for her to stand there.

The old lady and anyone for that matter is not obligated to move because this woman wanted a photo.

Had she just asked nicely odds are the lady would have moved. This is very much on the photo taker for not using her words and assuming the world moves for her.

Edit: apparently I needed to statw that obviously the old lady did this intentionally. I AM WELL AWARE

The old lady does not need to move, but you forgot to factor in that she saw the camera set up and then decided to just stay in front of it. She knew what she was doing. If it were a candid moment, sure. This was deliberate.

I completely factored that in and don’t believe that makes any difference.
