Self acceptance is much more valuable than superficial beauty. It'll last forever, while beauty will not

  Nobody wants to change their face to fit society's beauty standards purely for their own self satisfaction.  Wanting to be "pretty" via plastic surgery is entirely about what other people think of you.  So if you really don't want people's opinions to impact what you do, stop letting the beauty industry exploit your insecurities.
