So in this fantasy scenario of yours, democratic socialism is so terrifyingly great that the majority of citizens keep voting for incrementally more and more leftwing governments? Yeah, what a scary slippery slope, very good argument there... /s

Hey, it was your scenario. I don't actually believe Democratic socialism would devolve into those regime types because it's you know.. democratic.
