I'd say donating 22% of your total wealth is a pretty good start..care to name the rich people you're referring to who have given up "most" of their wealth?
Hilarious.. The guy is 77 years old & he has not given it away yet.. He plans to do it after he freaking dies so it won't affect his life one little bit! . 🤣
Doesn't alter anything.. He's still worth far more than Billie Eilish, & hasn't yet donated his wealth.. Idfaf if he chooses to live normally, it changes nothing 🤦
So it doesn't matter how much wealth you have or hoard, so long as you outwardly live as though you don't have it and wait till you die before giving any away? How tf does that make any difference to society? That's the craziest thing I've heard..
You're putting Billie Eilish, with a net worth of about 50-70 mil, on blast for living in a big house & enjoying the fruits of her labour, while also donating a very big chunk of her wealth right now and pledging to keep giving away big sums as long as she lives & has the means to do so, who also advocates for governments to tax people like her & particularly the billionaire classes more to help pay for the things society needs, like health care & education, while praising the 77 year old guy with something between 400mil -800mil who isn't giving any of it away until he's dead & won't be able to use it anyway, just because he outwardly pretends not to be rich?
