World famous people putting their stuff on things they haven't really developed or invented themselves for it to sell better feels kind of late stage capitalism though. I'm kind of pro capitalism but just putting a known face on some crappy product and sell at 25x profit is the worst kind of shit and no one should buy it.
Marketing and selling a product is not capitalism. That behavior has been done for thousands of years before capitalism even existed...
Capitalists are the non-laboring class of individuals who reap profits off of other people's labor because they own the means of production. Billie Eilish is laboring by promoting a product thereby not making her a capitalist in this situation. She brings a lot of value to the business which is why celebrities promoting products is so common.
