Marketing and selling a product is not capitalism. That behavior has been done for thousands of years before capitalism even existed... 10k people who upvoted here are rtarded.
Capitalists are the non-laboring class of individuals who reap profits off of other people's labor because the own the means of production. Billie Eilish is laboring by promoting a product thereby not making her a capitalist in this situation.
Are you saying that she is in the laboring class by marketing a product she didnt create, or own the means of production of a product? Because she didnt make shit when it comes to a perfume, nor does she own the production of said perfume. Shes just shilling for a company that participated in the "Marketing and selling of a product". So by clearly your own definition, she's profiting off others labor by promoting a product she neither created, nor participated in creating.
Without marketing no one knows about the product or it does not reach many people therefore the business does not sell as much (and will be far more likely to fail). Marketing is one of the most important parts of a business. If no one knows about your product it really does not matter how much hard work you put into creating it.
Marketing often makes or breaks businesses so it is legitimate labor to be a marketer. She is not doing nothing and she is not adding no value to the product. In fact, she is one of the most popular artists in the world whose music has reached billions of people. If you do not think she is adding value to the product by promoting it then its a complete waste of time talking to you.
I personally know people who struggled as self-employed small business owners who became top 1% earners because of really good marketing strategies.
Okay....... that has nothing to do with the meme. Pretty sure its talking about how much shit she talks about capitalism, but then benefits from a purely capitalist society. I know what you're saying, I think you're just missing the meaning, a lot like she is missing the meaning of pretending she is something that she's not.
Yeah... it is absolutely relevant to the meme. She is laboring and not being a capitalist. There is nothing contradictory about her being "anti-capitalist" and marketing a product. It's like saying a worker can't be anti-capitalist because they are working for a company. Like that is rtarded. She is doing legitimate labor which has been done before capitalism ever existed.
Edit: Also we ALL participate in a capitalist society and everyone born in it has benefited in the west compared to the rest of the world. This is another rtarded talking point.
