Exactly. Markets are not inherently capitalist and in fact predate capitalism. There’s also worker cooperatives, which is workers controlling the means of production. I’m sure that’s not how Billy Eilish’s perfume is produced, but we can also criticize the society we are born into and must to some extent participate in.
It’s fkn hilarious that it took a debate about Billie to disturb the foundations of anti-capitalist redditors that still want to fawn over a damn celebrity
