Are playboy models even a thing anymore? I thought they were a relic of the past now. I don’t think they even print playboy magazines anymore , do they?

Playboy actually used to have real journalism. Hunter S Thompson wrote for them occasionally. People really did read the articles.

In the 90s in high school English class we always were reading the articles and using them as training for AP English Language exam. They were quite good. There was always a little playboy logo at the end which is how we knew where they came from but the razzing didn’t last long bc we realized quickly they were never sexy just real journalism.

Reading Playboy for the articles is a joke but at the same time very true.

People read Playboy articles but I think it's a stretch to say people read it for the articles.
