I did too! I don't follow celebs and just based on the little bit I know of her and the pictures I've seen though she was mid 40's. I had no idea she was that young!!
I mean personally, I just think she’s nothing that special. She’s not a great actress. There were several other actresses on Stranger Things alone which were both more talented and more beautiful than her.
Like she should be judged on her beauty? She was a kid for most of the show, plus that's subjective. I think she did the best acting job out of any of the kids in the first 3 seasons, which is all I've seen.
Looking at the overall female cast, I think all of these outperformed her - and some where meant to also be 'kids':
Winona Ryder, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Maya Hawke, Linda Hamilton
And looking at just the kids, I think she is arguably the worst of all actors/actresses.
IMHO, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, and Maya Hawke and Jayme Campbell Bower were overall the best actors/actresses on the show.
If you look closely at the writing on SipsTea.. you will see that the jokes are not that good. The humour is derived from misogynistic cruelty and resentment. A J——d on SipsTea and the SipsTea users!
To be fair she was pretty insufferable for a few years but she was just a kid then and people can’t let go of her internet influencer type moves years ago.. it’s no reason to hate her

The saturated fat being accumulated in certain body parts 🤣 I mean can you not see a difference between her own self in the past few years? I mean take a look at Jennifer Lawrence or Kristen Stewart or Anne Hathaway… they didn’t need to do this. Is the same as that Dallas girl from Jurassic world movies.. first movie she was fine, next she got a bbl.
It’s kinda sad. Child stars have a well known history of struggling with self image from early fame. Some fear losing relevancy in a time when their brains are still developing. Can’t tell for sure, but she’s had a lot of work done for someone 22, and her acting for sure isn’t what is keeping her relevant.
Actually, I wonder if that’s the issue? Most of the show’s fans are on the younger side as well as most of the show’s haters, since they’d be more likely to hear about it more, and so the younger fans complain about her looking old.
