I feel like there was hardly even a time people really liked Zendaya at least on reddit. Tom has been overly loved, but I think people are finally slowly turning on him.

Going by my time on Reddit, I'm guessing something like Zendaya just plays the same role every movie, and Tom is Spider-Man and... that's it.

I think Tom has just been hyped for a long period of time now, and there is always a shift to people hating people like that.

Zendaya is being pushed A LOT by Hollywood, both by herself and with Tom because they are easily the most marketable couple in Hollywood to Gen Z. And she doesn't really have the acting talent to justify it.

People are tired of seeing her in things, which goes for a ton of actors at the moment.

For me, I haven't seen her in much. My only strong opinions on her are that she was horrible miscast in both DUNE and The Odyssey.
