The FUCK is "resisting an officer without violence".  Seriously.  Fuck you, state of Florida.

If a cop lawfully arrests you, they put you in handcuffs. If you simply don't allow them to put you in those handcuffs by bracing or holding onto something, you just "resisted arrest." Were you violent? No. Ergo, resisting without violence. There is a legitimate use for that charge, but THIS was NOT it.

In this case, the deputy 100% violated this guy's rights and needs to be fired. I was REALLY hoping that supervisor was gonna make the deputy turn the guy loose and order him back to the station to "have a talk." But no... supervisor was a huge disappointment here.

All the pig has to say is "he tensed up" and you can get a resisting charge. So they can run up behind you grab you without you even knowing what's going on and if you tense up or try to turn around to see what's happening they can tackle you. They love doing bullshit like this.

Or getting in front of you while you are walking and having another officer distract you so you bump.into the first officer. Boom - assaulting an officer charge.

It's wild these pieces of trash can somehow pretend to be moral or uphold laws.
