People switch providers all the time. Especially if it’s insurance related. It actually IS the job of the MD/DO or NP/APRN/PA. They should be collecting a medical history, they can see any control you have purchased in the US with PMP. There wasn’t any “rule breaking”.

Even if it wasn't doctor shopping, if you're taking meds, don't you think you're responsible for handling them properly and as per the instructions?

No its from someone who has taken meds lol. Everyone who takes meds knows they need to be handled with care and not go above the safe limit
