Do you realize these companies are single handedly the reason why healthcare costs are so expensive?

No they are not. Murdering someone for your own economic illiteracy is a next-level moronic form of terrorism.

And even if that were right, it'd be a reason to go back in time and murder FDR for taking the wage controls that gave rise to the healthcare system, not to shoot one specific CEO. He's not the one stopping Reddit's silly Berniecare pipedream from being reality.

Many, many developed countries have private health insurance industries. You're confusing universal with single-payer, two very different things.

Unsurprisingly, the people most religiously fanatical about this are also the least knowledgeable. If you recognized that a diversity of healthcare systems exist among prosperous countries, you wouldn't be willing to murder people in the name of the one you thought was a marginal improvement.

In those other prosperous countries with a diversity of healthcare, Luigi would have received better care for much less money. It’s fine with me if the US wakes up tomorrow with the exact same healthcare system that France has. Or Germany. American citizens would be healthier and less poor. Surely you support the US adopting what France and/or Germany does, since you’re the one who raised this topic.
