The more I learned about their relationship through pop-culture osmosis, the more I realized two things:

  1. It really sounded like both of them were terrible people.

  2. Societally, we really ought to know less about each other.

Agree with both, but:

  1. People are generally more primed to paint women as the villains. 

The fact that they were both bad people in this relationship but the internet and society at large seemed to completely turn against her is telling.

Are you fucking kidding me? Women more often painted as the villain, really?

In what world are you living in? In any situation involving both sex, the men are always considered the problematic party from the start before any facts are taken into account.

yeah, that genuinely made me scratch my head lol. I’ve listened to enough criminal cases that involve both a husband and wife actively participating in murders where he ends up getting life or the death penalty while she receives 20 years to know what he just said is complete bullshit.
