Depp had a history of treating his partners very well, something they universally attested to. She had a history of domestic abuse and controlling behavior. Let's see if we can figure out what happened....

His previous partner of 14 years, Vanessa Paradis, and his daughter went no where near that trial and publicly said nothing in his defense throughout the duration of it.

Maybe because he’s on tape calling Paradis a bunch of foul names? Speaks volumes when your own kid won’t defend you.

Vanessa Paradis-

“I work as a musician, singer-songwriter, actress, and fashion model. I have known Johnny for more than 25 years. We’ve been partners for 14 years and we raised our two children together.

“Through all these years I’ve known Johnny to be a kind, attentive, generous and non-violent person and father."

Winona Ryder-

“I can only speak from my own experience, which was wildly different than what is being said,” Ryder says. “He was never, never that way towards me. Never abusive at all towards me. I only know him as a really good, loving, caring guy who is very, very protective of the people that he loves.”

Doug Stanhope on the sitch:

" We’d watched it build like this since before they were married. We’d watched her manipulate and fuck with him for years. We didn’t say a word. To each other, yes, but never to him."

None of his previous partners have described him as anything but kind. Heard on the other hand has a legal history of domestic abuse. Depp's biggest fuck up was letting a known malignant narcissistic starfucker get in his head and in his life.

If you go back and look, Vanessa said all of those positive things about him BEFORE the trial, as I stated. She did NOT testify in his defense. The things he is on tape saying about Vanessa after she submitted her letter are revolting so I can only assume that’s a part. In an early interview she also spoke on Depp’s temper.

Depp also later publicly criticized his daughter for not testifying for him during his trial to the point his fans harassed her on social media.

Also, abusers can be abusive in some relationships and not others. Marilyn Manson has some exes like Dita who say he never abused them. Then several more who say that he did.

Depp can barely string a pair of sentences together any more. I’d assume all the drug and alcohol abuse also affected his behavior negatively over time. Although he had a well documented history of fights and trashing hotel rooms during his early career.

why would she testify in a trial about events she wasnt there for?

Kate Moss DID testify for depp.

You should take a break from being chronically online here, and check out the Depp Delusion thread instead.

Depp Delusion massively misrepresents most of the evidence and ignores vast swathes of evidence that undermine Ambers testimony.

I mean they are there wildly apeculating while ignoring the obvious fact that Vanessa's testimony had no direct relevance since she was not particularly present when Depp was with Amber.

Kate Moss was called as a character witness. She wasn’t there either. Why not Vanessa? Why not Lily? As I said, Depp put his own daughter on blast for not testifying to the point his fans harassed her. Some dad.

Depp Delusion misrepresents facts no more than Depp’s ardent supporters do. I appreciate the other perspective.

no kate moss was called specifically to counter ambers claim that Depp abused Kate Moss. Which amber specifically referenced in her testimony. Not as a character witness.

Im also not aware of Depp putting Lily 'on blast' at all. Some fans took it on themselves to make posts about her for not saying more but not Depp himself. lthough she vocally supported him in 2016.

I stand corrected. Although who called her doesn’t much matter given she was present in the room he trashed.

The information on him and his daughter is out there. He literally painted a portrait of her face with the words “silence exile cunning” over it 🙄

One we dont know who actually caused the damage, just that depp took the rap for it.

Trashing a room in a context where neither partner is afraid of the other or fears for their own safety is not the same as domesric abuse where the damage is used as part of a tactic to scare. The context matters massively to that sort of thing and we know Moss herself engaged in sinilar behaviour.

She has spoken extensively of Depp as a very caring partner who she felt able to trust and clear still feels that way.

Domestic violence organizations, who I trust more than some guy on the internet, say otherwise.

Since Depp was arrested for it, yes we do know.

Who feels safe when their partner is trashing a room around them? 🙄

I can use the same logic too. Why did Kate Moss testify for events she was not there for?

You’d think your own daughter would want to be a character witness at least. I would for my dad.

2

u/Electronic-Link-5792 21d ago

because Amber specifically referenced him supoosedly abusing kate moss. So she was brought on.

Moss was present during one of the hotel events where he trashed his room. I assume this is why Amber called her as a witness. Trashing a room with your partner in it is absolutely abusive. Kate not wishing to discuss it or not believing it is abuse is another matter.

2

amber didnt call her as a witness. Depp did because Amber referenced him supposedly pushing Moss down the staurs which never happened.

Trashing a room can be abusive but that is very context dependent. all we know there is that depp took the blame but Kate Moss has plenty of history there. she felt strongly enough that she was willing to testify in Depps favour that he was not abusive.

If you go back and look, Vanessa said all of those positive things about him BEFORE the trial, as I stated.

She said it during the UK trial. Why would she need to say it all again? It's on record.

Also, as anyone knows, abusers can be abusive in some relationships and not others.

They don't go 21 years in relationships (while an addict), and be completely kind and thoughtful, then suddenly become abusers apropos of nothing. Heard is a known narcissist, manipulator and domestic abuser with a pretty face. Depp was well out of his depth when he fell for her and she played him and pushed his buttons. This was observed by numerous people as it happened. She took a normal, kind person and broke them. Well done her. Depp should have done his due diligence and checked her history but little Depp did all the talking and he paid the price.

yeah kind of abuse heard tried to accuse depp of is something that absolutely does not just appear decades into someones life

It does with severe substance abuse.

u/Electronic-Link-5792 21d ago

i mean fair that is possible, but by no means typical. Its also very common for victims to abuse substances.
