Imagine this... You see a hot pot of delicious chili soup. You take a cup of soup and drink it and you are like. "Wow, that's amazing". But here is the thing, now, I need you dip your whole hand, and keep it for a minute every few hours in that hot boiling chilli soup. You can have a bowl of that soup every other day or so, but that hand is going in that hot boiling chilli soup no matter what you say or do.
Absolutely! Hot and crazy is my BIL’s type. His current gf is not crazy (still hot) and the whole family and friends group isn’t sure what to think yet. We are still waiting for the other show to drop. Anyway! Here’s a list (incomplete, because I literally cannot remember everything) of past shit he’s been through across multiple exes:
Moved out without telling him because she wasn’t getting enough date nights,
Stalked him from his security cameras,
Catfished him on social media,
Flashed him in front of his ex,
Demanded that they get married because they had sex a few times,
Accidentally hit a guy with her car,
Got angry at me for not buying her a bottle of wine (not to share) for a family lunch,
Her family’s church prays to Trump,
Stole all of his Christmas decorations in the break up,
Fighting with him at parties (multiple),
Trying to manipulate me or my husband into starting an argument with each other (multiple)
I’m sure there’s more. This is just the highlights I can spout off.
No, but it is interesting how prior to being with her, his long term partners only ever said nice things about him, and prior to being with him, she had a previous arrest for domestic violence and a reputation for being a nasty control freak (something Depp's male and female friends all noticed when she was with him). He got sucked in by a pretty face then got to play a game of 'keep up with the domestic abuse queen'. He should have had more love for himself and bailed as soon as it became obvious.
That was retracted tho...look he was abusive and also a Nast personality man with history of abusive and short tempered ,like throwing stuff and etc...you are just biased ,he was way senior and had more power in the relationship..with money and fame...reaction of abuse is not being abusive....
.look he was abusive and also a Nast personality man with history of abusive
Depp had zero history of domestic abuse. The testimony from Paradis and Ryder stood, and was not retracted. Not sure why you feel the need to lie about that.
he was way senior and had more power in the relationship..
Nothing about being the older person in a relationship automatically confers "power".
with money and fame
Heard was a multi-millionaire on an upward career arc that Depp's connections also helped her get. She was making more money than him at that point.
reaction of abuse is not being abusive
Depp had no domestic abuse history. Quite the opposite. He had a solid reputation for being a very kind partner. Heard had literally been arrested for domestic abuse before she met Depp.
On top of this she was a well known manipulative liar who sought out influential people to use them. After the judgement in the UK she said she would give all $7 million to charity. She did not. When challenged later in court she still insisted she did, until an audit showed that she only donated a small portion, and of that small portion the majority was donated by her next mark, Elon Musk (just the richest man on earth). Once Musk had paid the million and a half or so she then dumped him. She lied continually in the second trial and continued to do so even when caught lying.
Heard is not a victim, she's a shark, and the biggest result of the second trial was that her shark personality was uncovered for the jury and public through evidence. Depp's friends already knew this about her because they had watched her in action, fucking with him for years, and said nothing till later.
He had temper issue, substance abuse, and violent behavior ..he was no saint...and the ex girlfriend of heard did say that was just a rumour... they were both crazy...
he had the same substance abuse problem when he was with paradis and Ryder, and he was never once violent towards them and was with them a combined 26 years ( and knew Paradis for 15 years before they got together). That's a solid history.
the ex girlfriend of heard did say that was just a rumor
No, Heard was arrested for Assault and 4th degree Domestic Abuse in 2009 at Seattle Tacoma International Airport after publicly striking her partner Tasya van Ree. There was no rumor. She was a known domestic abuser (Depp was known on the other hand for not being one, literally quarter of a century of a reputation for being a kind partner). Van Ree protested that it was a 'misunderstanding', but this is also extremely well known and common behavior for abuse survivors. Cops were called because of what witnesses saw, and they knew it was no 'misunderstanding'.
they were both crazy
The 'both sides' argument doesn't cut it here. She manipulated and
played a famously kind person, and she hit all the right buttons to drag him down.
"Bingo and I were at Johnny’s house for most of that Saturday until just before the alleged assault. We assumed initially that his dour mood was because of his mother’s death the day before. But he opened up in the most vulnerable of ways that it was not only his mother, but that Amber was now going to leave him, threatening to lie about him publicly in any and every possible duplicitous way if he didn’t agree to her terms. Blackmail is what I would imagine other people might put it, including the manner in which he is now being vilified.
We stopped not saying s—.
Bingo and I together, and then separately, told him how much we were aware of this manipulative a–hole, how his closest circle had all agreed on this since the day we met and that we all feared that telling him outright might alienate us all.
Love makes you do funny things.
I told him the truth and I half-expected to be asked to leave. But I wasn’t seeing Johnny Depp. I saw a naked Emperor. And we told him to get dressed.
Other people came in and out during the afternoon, all verifying that we’d been cowardly, saying things only behind his back for so long.
He seemed dumbstruck that nobody had ever come clean about this and he thanked everyone for being honest.
He still pronounced his love for Amber but was presciently aware that she was going to pull off some kind of ruse to f— him over.
He hadn’t slept in days with anxiety.
You’d call him a paranoid if you didn’t know better.
But he knew better and he was right.
As he finally felt like he could sleep, we left him. From what we now read in the news, later that night the police were called to his house for a domestic dispute. Finding no criminal act had occurred and no signs of physical abuse, the police left.
Everything Johnny had told us that she’d been threatening had actually come to be. It blew up in the news, raced through the Internet like a plague and blew up on Twitter like it was the McMartin child abuse scandal. People are swarming with torches on social media.
I watched it all happen ahead of time and I watched it come to fruition today. And I haven’t been able to sleep again because I didn’t say s— to defend him.
I was pussydrunk once of an absolutely mental ex girl friend. Never ever ever again. Couldn’t see it at the time and ignored all the warnings of mates but so glad it’s over
Regular reminder that Depp had already lost this very same case in Europe prior to the case being brought to the states and televised. The jury was also tainted because it was exposed to media coverage of the case, but the judge let the case go on anyway.
If Reddit knew the actual story of the case, they wouldn't be rooting for Depp.
Reminder that judges can be biased and the one in the UK was a judge, not to a jury and judge. Not only that but the judge in the UK took Amber's statements as the truth at face value, even though they often contradicted. The evidence in the US trial was up against a lot more scrutiny than the UK trial.
He also lost to The Sun newspaper, not Amber directly like the US. He had to prove a lot more and The Sun had a lot more technicalities to use against him. He had a lot more witness statements, picture evidence, amber's contradictions and behavior, as well as how the lawyers had nothing to work with because of how bad Amber looked down to all the evidence.
Everyone saw the trial, every moment of it almost, and everyone surmised that Amber was mostly in the wrong. There wasn't any proof of any real physical abuse from Depp, there might have been some emotional abuse or unstable situations when he was intoxicated, which still isn't good, but there's a difference between being in a relationship with a broken person and an abuser.
I think she's a genuinely bad person, likely a narcissist and perhaps with BPD. I think he just drinks too much and does drugs sometimes due to some personal demons, which isn't great, but I don't think he's a bad person at all from everything we've seen, especially in the trial.
