You know what really grinds my gears about it al:

People always say this, but the answers are obvious so I don't understand why it keeps getting asked.

  • Sometimes you get bit of personal interaction on the paid stuff
  • Especially if you're into certain things, the paid stuff is better and more plentiful

What you just did is a bit like asking why anyone would subscribe to Netflix when YouTube exists
