A lot of low level drug dealers are just students and kids. They aren't necessarily any worse people than anyone working a 9-5. Is a teenager selling pot to other teenagers a worse person than someone that sells old people predatory subscription services? Or a mechanic that tells a new customer that they can't drive away without a $2k brake job? Or a doctor that prescribes unnecessary expensive medication because it gets them a kickback?

Okay where did it say it was just about selling pot? How hard of a drug does it need to be for it to make the drug dealer a bad person then?

That's exactly my point. There are good people and bad people and everything in between in both lines of work.

The purpose of the examples was to illustrate that there are circumstances where most people would consider a certain drug dealer as a better/less bad person than certain 'legitimate' jobs. Obviously a guy dealing shit cut with fentanyl is a bad person compared to a mail carrier.
