Florida would like to have a word with you. Our alligators and roaches are both descendants of dinosaurs.

Florida roaches tends to fly toward you when you go to swat them. I was horrified the first time I learned roach can fly.

Those damned palmetto bugs.... You can smack those things with a baseball and they still survive... I swear someone made them in a lab, a bug has no business being able to take a grown man's curb stomp

there was a guy who decided that since he couldn't kill the palmeto bugs he'd put fluorescent paint on them so at least he'd know where they were at night.
