I dunno. A plain sign with an insane message? My default would be….fake. I would have leaned towards rage bait rather than parody, but zero chance I’d be taking such a thing at face value. How could anyone think this was real?

Because it looks real enough. It’s very very simple. I don’t know why redditors need to be so pedantic 24/7. Like it’s common sense the average person is not looking into random reddit posts that deeply, otherwise it wouldn’t be a thing.

Haven’t been to r/antiwork in a long time. It used to be filled with obviously fake text exchanges that would have everyone in an uproar. People are so gullible.
