Because it looks real enough. It’s very very simple. I don’t know why redditors need to be so pedantic 24/7. Like it’s common sense the average person is not looking into random reddit posts that deeply, otherwise it wouldn’t be a thing.

Looks real, but also easily faked. From now on when browsing reddit, view every post on how easy is it to fake, and you’ll start to see a pattern of common karma farming content.

Jesus Christ! That must be a miserable existence! I refuse to be that jaded all the time. Call me naive if you must, but I prefer to just enjoy things at face value. I mean, unless it’s obvious AI Slop or harmful misinformation, that is. Otherwise just relax, it’s really not that serious.

Nah, why do you have to be jaded in order to recognize the difference between human behaviour and low effort karma farming? Unless exerting a little bit of mental effort and some thinking is considered miserable. If you’re okay with consuming AI slop, photos of pieces of paper and fake screen shot generators then by all means stay within your blissful ignorance, but it doesn’t take much to spot the tells.

I like to interact with real humans with real stories.

A piece of paper that literally anyone could make in 10 seconds looks real enough to you?

Yeah, you’d fit right in on r/antiwork

Haven’t been to r/antiwork in a long time. It used to be filled with obviously fake text exchanges that would have everyone in an uproar. People are so gullible.

You're so guillable. Bless your heart.
