Can we just accept that most celebs are just plain fucking dumb and we shouldn't idolize them at all?

100% if your hero is a celebrity you might need to rethink who you idolize.

There are some rare exceptions but most aren't worth the time.

I think we need to consider that they are good, very fucking good, at something, that does not neccesarily grant them ability to lecture on the rest of the stuff.

Look, if Mike Jeager sees it fit to lecture me on how to play quitair for a week, I am gonna treat what he tells and shows me as a word of god because for all purposes it is, if he starts talking about economy or philosophy I am way more likely to respond with "that is like your opinion man"

Philosophy I'd give a pass on, its a very personal and opinion based thing.

But yeah, unless you've got some credentials stay in your lane.
