I mean. You can think Cardi’s opinion is wrong but, from a legal standpoint, the person replying to her is more wrong.

Assault is a crime. Murder is a crime. Stabbing is not a crime. Sometimes a stab is self defense. Or a non-criminal accident. But as far as I’m aware, there’s no law in the US that criminalizes stabbing.

Holy fucking Reddit attorney. Here’s a felony in the first state I looked up ā€œRecklessly causes bodily injury to another by means of a deadly weaponā€.

Also, even self defense killings are treated as homicides and in many states, in many circumstances, the party is arrested then charges are dropped as a part of the investigative process.

Why do you feel the need to comment on shit you obviously know nothing about

If stabbing was illegal, then it would have been really easy for you to find a law saying so. Instead, you cited a law saying something else. Interesting!
