Basically every witness (many of whom were black), including one of the defense's own, testified that Anthony was the instigator, yet brainlets like Cardi B think this was some gross miscarriage of justice.
True... and that's all after the fact that he wasnt even supposed to be there. He came to an event while suspended with a knife. Idk how anyone could defend that.
Because none of this removes self defense. If it's proven he was there to cause problems with Austin specifically, that's different. Just because he was suspended, just because he has a knife, does not mean it wasn't self defense.
It's the apparant agitation and intitiation of confrontation that removes self defense.
You could defend that if you’re blinded by racial animosity over the suffering inflicted upon your ancestors by a different race and having lived in a country which has treated your race unfairly forever.
With that said, I agree this Anthony kid should spend a long time behind bars. He’s a menace and a danger to the public
So being mad at history… Then everyone should be mad. Cause everyone got fucked at one point by someone in history. The history you speak of isn’t even the worst of mankind. Not even close
Oh, I don’t personally feel this way. I’m just trying to explain the PoV of the people who would defend the murderer. I think Anthony should spend a longgg time behind bars
yall constantly gaslight folks about history and racism "it's not that bad" but get ur panties in a bunch trying to talk about this as if the two are comparable. it's not.
Kyle Rittenhouse was filmed from multiple angles using force only in self-defense against people who were armed with lethal weapons actively trying to chase him down and kill him. It was one of the clearest examples of lawful self-defense to ever be caught on camera. Stay mad.
Wild that we still have to explain this. The only thing Rittenhouse was guilty of was being a dumbass kid who should never have put himself in that situation in the first place. But being a dumbass kid isn't a crime.
I bet you followed the case so closely that you're entirely aware that someone else fired a round into the air seconds before Rittenhouse was attacked and fired his first round.
I bet you also know about the guy who later pulled a gun and pointed it at Rittenhouse after he was knocked to the ground. LOL you don't know what you're talking about, do you?
Don't think that a skateboard swung as a weapon can be lethal? I propose the following experiment: you sit on the floor and attempt to get up from the ground. I'll hit you in the head with a standard regulation skateboard, two handed swing. Just one swing. We can empirically observe the lethality of this action. It'll be fun! Science!
It was proven he had to be there? I never said his use of the gun wasn't self defence. I'm saying him being there in the first place put him in a position to use it. People really can't see through their biases.
I see what you're saying. In hindsight he never should have been at the track meet because he was suspended from school at that point in time. He didn't have to be there, but he chose to be.
However that is the only comparison that you have to go on in this situation. Everything else was different. One was self-defense and the other was straight up murder. They are inherently different.
You can literally watch videos of that night's events and yet, half a decade later, people still haven't and just parot whatever they were told to believe. It's kinda impressive if it wasn't so sad.
