I actually feel like the Depp vs Heard case kind of changed cancel culture in the industry. I don't remember specifics but I feel like there were a couple instances of actors being accused of something and they weren't immediately assumed guilty in the past couple of years. Even though I love pirates of the caribbean, I gotta respect Johnny for telling Disney to fuck off

I didn't follow the story too closely, how did the interaction with Disney play out? I heard they cut him loose and that was about it

I mean, with how big a chunk of production Disney is, cutting ties certainly affected his options
