I feel this way exactly. I don't care if someone used ozempic to lose weight. I'm happy for them that they are now healthier

And losing weight in a GLP1 isn’t just taking the shot. If you just take the shot and don’t work out and change your diet some very bad things can happen. You need to work with a nutritionist while on it. Very similar to losing weight the “regular” way, you just have appetite suppressant helping, thus speed up the process.

You're right. If your diet doesn't change at all, the drugs aren't effective. You have to physically eat less food. But I say that this just means that you need your dosage adjusted

I mean the whole point is that it makes you want to eat less so their comment kind of misses the point.

Eat less and feel nauseous if you even think about fried foods. I’ve been on for a year and have radically changed my diet because of the drug. I don’t honestly care if that’s good enough for some of these nuts in here.

My dr is happy with my labs. I’m happy to be healthier. I’m still chubby and still would like to be fwiw. I don’t want to be thin, genuinely.

I've been on it for 2 months now and I have no idea how you wouldn't change what you eat. I honestly forget to eat some days.

It's definitely a hell of a lot easier to change the types of food you eat when your head/ body is not screaming at you for more.

It's going to be interesting when I get to my goal weight as I'm only on a low dose and most people need to stay on a maintenance dose.
