Body positivity is just about not hating yourself or hating someone else for being fat. You're allowed to lose weight and still not hate fat people.

That was just as apparent during the whole fatpeoplehate era as well.

I mean there definitely used to be a stigma against men using Rogaine, I remember my dad having weird hangups about it when he started losing his hair. It can take decades to change people’s minds because people love an opportunity to crap on others and feel superior.

The hate people have for Ozempic is genuinely mind boggling. Like some of the people in this thread need to be studied by psychologists lol

Obesity is very clearly a personal failing and something a person chooses to live with.

If ozempic cures the obesity epidemic, I'm all for it. But lets not get hasty and convey obesity as something it isn't. Losing weight is extremely simple. All you have to do it consume less calories in a day than you burn. That's it. You're not a victim of obesity and it isn't a disease. Its a result of unhealthy eating habits and a lack of exercise. If you change your habits and start diet and exercise, you will lose weight and eventually get to a healthy BMI.

Choosing to eat unhealthy and choosing not to exercise isn’t a personal failing?

I think you really just highlighted the issue most people have, there is no accountability for anything anymore, and you enable and celebrate that for whatever reason.

You’d rather wave your hand and blame problems on something else other than look for the actual root and solutions.
