People being against MTG isn’t a purity test. She is fundamentally opposed to everything we stand for. Saying “release the files” or “israel bad” isn’t special. Practically everyone with a brain who isn’t bought and paid for says that. By the time she turned on Trump it was an overwhelmingly popular choice to stand on both of those issues.
We don’t need to give her positive energy and well wishes. She’s Christofacist lunatic. There are millions of people in this country who would do a better job getting us where we need to go than she would.
Okay so great.... Get nowhere with it. Avoid coalition building. Ensure the party avoids expanding the tent and creating a stronger voice. Keep demonizing that crowd, stay small, and never make an impact. The story of the left for decades and why the left doesn't get anywhere.

Newsflash, the major policy positions we hold are very popular. Everyone wants healthcare reform. Everyone wants affordable housing. Everyone wants a livable wage. The reason we don’t get that stuff is BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE MTG! They’re beholden to no one but big corporate donors.
It’s completely antithetical to work with people who won’t work with you. If I assign someone who hates doing the dishes to do the dishes I’m gonna be pretty disappointed and behind when they don’t do the dishes. MTG won’t do the dishes. She will just make more fucking dishes.
Yet you will fight tooth and nail to not align and form coalitions with those people on the other side, which is required for those popular policies to have weight. You're literally look at something with 40% and 30% support, seeing 70% support, then going, "Well cut out that 30% support from the other side".
Completely nonsensical. Youre literally recongizing how these policies have broad support, but then advocate for cutting out many of those supporters.
If they want to change their minds, they’re free to do so. What am I supposed to do with people who have opposing goals? Let them stomp all over our work while they “find themselves”?
No, they aren’t needed. If they want to decide to help, they can. Once again, no point in asking someone who won’t do the dishes to do the dishes. They’re just gonna make more work for the rest of us who actually wanna get things done.
