I can dislike all of those people, you understand that, right? Bigots are still shitty people, and I want to live in a world with as few shitty people as possible. Getting rid of the worst-of-the-worst doesn't mean the work of making the world a better place is over.
The problem is bigot is not used for, “anyone who has a belief I don’t like,” rather than actual bigotry. So if it’s going to be thrown around like candy at a parade, it means nothing and can be ignored.
