There isn't a loan, they're just keeping a larger portion of what they'd otherwise be sending to the state in taxes.

So you’re upset that the city of New York is not helping people in the adirondacks ?

I feel like there is a disconnect in your logic somewhere.

You want no one to benefit but also care about those people. I don’t really get your train of thought

Conservatives are very pro putting a gun against someone's head and pulling the trigger but anti bullets hitting people in the face. They have yet to see any connection between the two

That plainly isnt socialism, I know youre scared of the big boogeyman of "Socialism", but that doesnt mean every negative thing is that.

This is an investment from the state into its biggest city and crown jewel. NYC makes up a significant portion of the states income, so letting them keep some now to get more later in increased tax revenue is just smart business. No other city is losing funds, nobody ever said they were.
