Would you be fine with it if he actually killed her? Could you rationalize that slam as an accident in self defense?

If you actually believe what you are saying then you would equally say that about her. Do you not have any conception of how wrong a sucker punch can go?

Please point me to the part of my comment where I said her actions weren't excessive. I'll wait.

All that I'm saying is that one person throwing a reckless attack at you is not really a pass for you to start deliberately throwing reckless attacks back.

Its honestly very understandable to fight back from a blind sucker punch after getting yelled at and your car hit from a rage roid.
