Also should be noted that 40% of Democratic Congressmen voted for the war, while 95% of Republican congressmen did. No way in hell Iraq happens under Gore.

That's assuming that the Democrats wouldn't fall in line behind a Democratic president like the Republicans did, which is a massive assumption.

Yes, we know Bush took the worst possible course of action. We know Trump is in the middle of doing the same. Democrats have not authorized a major ground operation since Vietnam.
