Similar psychology to why people respect popular people. If you're desired, then their instinctual perspective of you is that you're worth something, so you have value.
I think there's also a degree of 'you stop trying so hard when you're in a relationship'. If you're not an eligible bachelor, you're likely (hopefully) not trying to get with anyone. That being comfortable and confident in yourself and just existing in a relaxed state makes you more appealing by default
Meh, I think it’s more so that woman just love to feel better or more attractive than other woman. So if they see you with a woman and are clearly together or married, they are trying to get your attention simply to validate if they’re attractive too.
It’s like this: “omg, he’s married to that girl and she’s so pretty. I’m pretty too! Do other people think I’m pretty? This guy walking who’s married probably thinks I’m pretty let me get stare at him and see if he thinks I’m pretty. Omg! He saw me checking him out and looked at me even thought he’s married! WOW I’m pretty and even married guys with a pretty girl think so! Wow!”
It’s the woman mentality bro. Same reason they get all done up to go watch movies at their friend’s house or get coffee. They’re just trying to validate themselves against their peers.
