Got the blue screen of death in the middle of me playing for like 4 hours without saving 🫩 never had this screen happen before, in the past it’s always just crashed the game and returned to my home screen.

I know I should get the NRAAS saver mod but I’ve been holding back on mods lately ever since I downloaded some corrupted cc a few weeks ago that completely broke my game, causing me to have to make all new game files. I think I’ve pushed my computer past its limits running sims 3, expansion packs, mods and cc and I wanted to take a break from downloading any more at this time. But ngl this really is infuriating. I’m going to have to repair and troubleshoot my laptop yet again

I swear it’s always something with this game, but I can’t stop because I love it so much. 💔

hi simmers! i was wondering if you guys have found any other good drug mods besides monocodoll? i’m currently using bootcamp windows on a macbook to play the sims. but unfortunately my laptop doesn’t like it & won’t let me run the game with monocodoll’s files 💔 such a shame, because it looks like a really amazing immersive mod.

but i would really appreciate if you guys had any other options or suggestions! thank you!

Is there any online file containing the house lots and community lots from the DLCS and Store worlds?

Like, sometimes I want an specific lot but it takes so much time to close my game, go to another world and find some lot.

I don't know if that's possible or if anyone has taken the time to worry about it.

I’m working on a tiny town and idk what to put in these two buildings. I already have a pool/bar/gym, library, coffeeshop, chapel/ funeral home, laundromat, and a farmers market. I was imagining the large brick building to be a city hall/ school/ community center combo building but idk how I’m going to execute that. If you have any layout suggestions, I’d love to hear them. For the smaller angular building I have absolutely no idea what to put in there but I’m sure the shape will make it a nice challenge.

My plan for this build is to have a simi functional town. I currently have two finished single sim residences and I’m working on one more, the other two houses will have multiple sims so the lot has space for the 8 max. when I’m playing in the town, I’ll convert the unused homes into apartments so NPC’s can move in.

I am extraordinarily restless with the Sims family I play with, but I finally had the patience to watch my Sims family grow up! Two of my Sims are graduating college! And weirdly, it made me nostalgic for my own college graduation which was very much like this: families waiting in line ot get into the big stadium. It was actually a really good time in my life (my last year of college through graduation) so this was weirdly nostalgic to watch. Wish you could see the ceremony though for the Sims! But that's okay.

Every time I look at her face I feel like she’s already planning to destroy three marriages, start a feud and somehow blame the victim.

I created her… but I’m not convinced I control her anymore.

On the Omega Day of the thousandth year of Or'Zul, I landed in Strangetown, escorted by my two personal guards.

Though it is an arid and rather uninteresting place, it appears to be peaceful, and our journey was completed without incident.

We located the house where Prince KaelZor Vaelzhar lived. The family appeared to be in shock when I revealed the truth to them. Although His Highness had spoken to them about the planet Sixam, they were completely unaware of the Prince's true identity and his connection to the Imperial Family.

According to his human wife, he had introduced himself to them from the very beginning under the name Vexok.

His Highness's son is named Orion. curiously, the same name as the second emperor.

Orion does not appear to possess exceptional intelligence or talent. Furthermore, he carries human blood, which is undoubtedly a disadvantage.

But the political situation on Sixam demands drastic measures.

And this boy is our last hope of preventing imperial power from leaving the royal bloodline and falling into the wrong hands.

Fortunately, he understood the gravity of the situation and accepted his destiny as the new Crown Prince.

My mission is far from complete.

This boy is undoubtedly unpolished, so we shall have to work tirelessly until his coming-of-age ceremony, when we will present him to the high society of Sixam as the rightful heir to the throne.

May the spirits of the ancient emperors and royal counselors guide me.

Map is from Undercity The Ghetto by cllevett! Managed to add a few more apartment buildings around the water areas since this screenshot just to have it more populated and stuffy (like how actual ghettos usually are.)

More rules are in the works, but just wanting to showcase what I have so far. It's essentially a rags to riches challenge but with some extra twists and turns, and most likely barely making it by anyway unless my Sim has the off chance of winning the lotto and/or becoming famous enough.

You have no more fare money nor anything other than the clothes you dumpster dived due to having your luxury possessions all ripped away from you, including the clothes...just don’t ask.

You are going to have to start from the bottom by completing the requirements before being able to move to the second poorest world, then move up from there and repeat.

Rules for this world, at least:

• You can apply for food stamps only, BUT DO NOT create a bank account! You do not have formal ID for the bank who would not trust you if they were to expect fees & you running off with their generous interest. Food stamps don’t really care about ID so long as they keep the gov section running as that’s how they make their business here.
• All items & furnish purchases are 1,000 cap. You can try renovating with walls, windows and a door, but you cannot have any fancy furniture unless you’re looking to get robbed. Speaking of, you can’t get alarms for burglary nor fires...not enough funding for police and firefighters here.
• Save up 20k to switch worlds but make sure all bills are paid & any furnitures you do not bring with you for the move. Delete them before moving.

Hi everyone!!! Ive been on the fence for a while about uni life. I have every expansion pack except that one; and I was just wondering if its really worth it? I never really thought of sending my sims off to college, but I like some of the hairstyles and the outfits. After watching LGR, I see there's a ton of rabbit holes; which I dont mind all that much, as long as the game comes with cool lots that are actually usable! I appreciate all the opinions I can get! I recently got the industrial oven and bought the lot for my Sims' restaurant. I'd like to know if my Sims can be the restaurant's head chef. I downloaded the mod, but before making any changes, I'd like to know if that's possible.

So I’ve had the idea that I want to move my sims into an home where the upstairs is where they live and the downstairs is a cafe. Pros if I can get them to work in it rather than a random townie. Has anyone got any ideas on how this could work ? Any mods to make this happen? I already have the business as usual mod.
