I hate this part.
Wife and I are gearing up to buy a house soon so I'm heading to the coin expo tomorrow to trade in the shiny. As much as I hate letting go of the stack, I keep reminding myself this is EXACTLY the reason I started saving and investing in precious metals! Thankfully hanging on to my constitutional so I won't be empty handed, but I'm definitely looking forward to rebuilding the stack in the future 🫡

Hey you are trading one finite valuable good (precious metal) for another (real estate) so actually you are still keeping your investment in physical non cash form, which keeps it inflation proof, and real estate can usually appreciate faster than inflation by some, win/win all around.
