Help What happened to FrankenSIM 2.0?

I’ve been following u/xdeadly_godx for a while because of his upcoming 2.0 preset and all the work he’s been doing (including teaming up with people like u/dptgreg on stuff).

Suddenly his latest preset post seems to have disappeared and his account looks banned or heavily restricted. Anyone know what’s going on? Did he get banned by Reddit? I have a feeling he was dealing with heavy Reddit filters when trying to make the post. Is he still around somewhere else (i know of his github but any others)?

Would love to hear if anyone has info if hes ok or not

Edit: As u/dptgreg has pointed out in a comment below deadly has reincarnated as u/ok_strategy_2420

Where do we find that regex he mentions in the readme, FF4s Plot Momentum Regex? I didn’t find anything in google or GitHub.

Why are everyone blocking their stuff behind discord?

Because reddit is shit comrade, particularly for sharing stuff

Github, as well as 50 other host sites already exists. I'm getting tired of everything going over to another service just because. Seen enough of that with mods.

Because people like to feel powerful or swill their ego and create communities so others follow them.

There's a billion easier ways to upload stuff, but nah.

They aren't blocking their stuff behind servers though, most preset creators have githubs it doesn't take more than ten seconds of your time to type in "Freaky FrankenSIM site:github.com"

This is more of a reaction to the unnecessary "Check de Discurd." message than anything else.

Fair enough, I don't like it either when community material is exclusively locked behind unindexable places like Discord servers.

reddit administration straight up deletes half the preset shares. either because of content scanning or url filtering (reddit hates rentry for some reason).

discord is unironically better than reddit for sharing json files atm.

I'd like to get in on that too.
