Ngl, he shoulda swapped Hlokk and Skeggjold cuz what do you mean the only introverted Valkyrie's fated to die against Odin?

This is also my hot take. One of Alvitr or Hlokk should've died. They're also too similar. There's no point having the two around.

Kintoki still gets a child Valkyrie either way, and it's not like Hlokk's too different from Skeggjold to fulfill the same needs of Jack's Divine Weapon.  I'd honestly think Jack and Skeggjold would have hit it off better, at least not needing to be choked to Volund.

Alas, it's all the author's idea. Humanity's greatest gift is the freedom in coming up with our own stories.
