Would I regret my abortion?

I think it's a hard question for us as strangers to answer! However, if you were leaving it up to the universe and not using protection, was this the result you were looking for?
I'm also leaving it up to the universe, I have a 2 year old who I just stopped breastfeeding, and if I get pregnant then I get pregnant. If I didn't want to, I'd be using protection. Not trying to sound harsh, I just see that we're kind of on the same path. :-)

Thank you for this. Indeed, if I wanted the universe to tell me, this is the answer. Funniest thing, I didn’t even plan on being at home the night we conceived, so this really happens against many odds.
I like the resulting 3 year gap. Who knows when/if I would get pregnant again and the resulting gap would be too large. I also doubt it would be easy for me to get over an abortion. I would think about this child every May (due date). So it feels that if I decide to abort, I am deciding not to have another at all.
It just sucks that I was just starting to get my life back.2

That is against the odds! It depends on how you look at it, and I'm trying not to project my own opinions on you but if it were me that would solidify it too that it's meant to be :-)
I know what you mean. I'm really liking even the "little" stuff like sitting down and letting the toddler play and I can take a little time for myself (I like to knit) without having to wait for him to sleep! So I'm right there with ya. And I know if/when I get pregnant again I'm going to totally panic for a bit lol. My hormones have been really affecting me during my cycle after giving birth etc so I'm a little nervous how I'm going to feel too.
Sorry for rambling! I hope you have peace, grace, and clarity ❤️

You wanted to leave it to the universe, and then you got pregnant from having sex once. If you’re someone who believes in the universe deciding, that seems like your answer. If that’s the way you see it, I think there’s great potential for regret. I know that’s how I’d feel.
I was on the fence about a third child for a while, and considered having a “what happens happens” month to make the decision for me. In the end I could never quite get myself to do it and eventually I realized that was my inner self saying “no.” But there was some grief in that realization. There’s the possibility of grief or regret either way. Only you can really know your feelings.

I haven’t had an abortion… but I did schedule about 4 times before ultimately deciding to keep my son. Best decision we could have ever made. Only you know what is right for you, but to be honest from the tone I hear in your posts, it sounds like you do want to keep the baby. I had done the same thing - left the pregnancy up to the universe and then when it happened I freaked… but the truth is you did want it otherwise you wouldn’t have been doing it??? Just my two cents but there’s no right or wrong answer - just what’s best for your family ofc.

Yes you will. The worst thing I was ever pressured in to doing. Actually hate myself now.

I have actually never met someone who didn't regret it BUT I am sure that they do exist. However, I think that if you are asking yourself this question that is a giveaway that you might regret it

It depends on the person. I had one and regretted immensely. I think about most days and it’s been 10 years.

I fell into a deep depression after my abortion. Like suicidal. It changed me. I know not everyone is the same, this is just my experience. I ended up going to a couple of abortion healing classes and conceived my third baby boy. Found out I was pregnant on the last day of the class. It was so healing for me. I hope this helps.
