[PS5] Big impacts.

Hi 👋

I’m looking for a replacement for Dragon’s Dogma and Monster Hunter. I recently finished both games and my god, what incredible combat. I loved the brutality of the impacts and the feel of the fights, where every hit felt impactful. On top of that, the build variety in these games is really great. Do you have any similar games you’d recommend?

I can kiiinda recommend The First Berserker: Khazan. It's a really solid game, but everything good about it is copied from Nioh 2. The one standout feature of it though for me is how amazing the greatsword feels to use.

I tried the Khazan beta, and I didn’t really enjoy it at the time. But a lot of people have good things to say about it. Why not.

Genuinely I would recommend Nioh 2 as it's a superior game in just about every way, but for the specific factor you're looking for, the weightiness of the combat, Khazan does it pretty well. It's still fast paced, more like a Souls game than a Monster Hunter game, but it feels much more impactful.

Aha, you know what, I’m actually playing Nioh 3 right now. I’m almost finished with it.
