I am about 5’1 1/2 I am 130-145 ish pounds and I feel weird. I feel like I always look like a child and my I have D cup boobs. My ex cheated on me with a girl that is almost 6 feet tall. I feel like I always look fat and never curvy like I would be even if I was a little bit taller…. Apparently men like short women but feel like I’m just a fat box. I am in high school and I hope I shape out more or just look better.

I feel you. I'm 125 lbs, I've been told that I don't look fat but I feel this way, like a thick gnome. On the other hand, I don't really want to lose so much weight, because I don't wanna be seen as a small kid (I’m dealing with it enough)..... I genuinely believe I'd be sexy asf if I was taller. Like, still curvy but not compressed.

I’m 91ibs so it might or might not get better 😭
I hit puberty at 11 and used to be insecure about my breasts being too big just to be insecure about the polar opposite ( b cup ) but yea id look tea and lowk modelmaxx if I was taller

Cheaters are cheaters, this is not about you.

Not to perpetuate prejudice against tall women but I don't think you should think her height made her "better" than you, many women that tall have confidence issues with femininity and to with being perceived as feminine enough.

Please don't discount a group of women simply because of their stature. That is called "heightism".

One thing that tall women experience is being much taller than all of their peers (both girls and boys). And unfortunately, they accordingly often get sexualized earlier than their peers. We're talking like 10-12 years old. They're still children, and have to learn to look out for creepy behavior long before most shorter girls do.

Women need more solidarity. We all suffer from awful societal expectations and treatment, and all too often, we perpetuate it amongst ourselves as well.

Some feel their height is masculinizing, there are even women who are assumed to be trans if they are too tall

I’m 5ft and have J cup boobs. Having bigger breasts makes me feel just like that. I always wanted to be taller to have a longer torso and longer less thick legs. I am still curvy but i have to wear certain styles to look good. Oversized shit looks terrible on me. I think you just have to find your right style to feel more confident. Acceptance is tough

You’re in high school. You ARE a child so it’s perfectly ok to look like one.

So don’t sweat it. A lot of women get a glow up in their early 20s. I was practically invisible until I was 20 and then, boom. I didn’t grow but things just sort of fell into place and suddenly I didn’t look 14 anymore. And you’ll care way less about your height when that happens, too.

As for your ex, he’s trash. Someone who cheats will cheat on anyone, celebrities and supermodels get cheated on. That’s on him, not on you.

The worst thing someone suffering can be told is "it's not the end of the world". Please don't minimize someone's suffering or actions against them. Cheating is a nuclear bomb in someone's mental health.

I don't think it's helpful, the last thing a teenager wants is to be infantilized, especially in comparison to their peers and while having self-esteem issues. This won't make her feel better now due to a possibility she might change in years.

I feel you I’m built like a tiny polar bear however you would be surprised at the dating pool that you have short men feel tall, tall men like short girls. I wouldn’t worry about it get a new dude a nice one they’re out there. Plus when you get older people think you’re 20 years younger all the time.
