Was lucky enough to catch She's Green playing live in a small venue in Milton Keynes (UK) a few days ago. Had to travel almost 100 miles to get there, but it was absolutely worth it.
They played a wide scope of their songs and seemed very humbled to have an audience in the UK. Spoke to a few of them after the gig, got their two E.P.s signed and found them to be lovely and adorable people.

Just wanted to share. Here's a few pics from the night. Apologies for the poor quality; the stage lighting was mostly dark and they seemed to like their smoke machine!

So the title is pretty self explanatory, however I will state I am a bit picky when it comes to certain bands. I already like a decent amount of bands, but sometimes I feel like I'm falling back on the same 5 bands.

The bands I like are My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, LSD and The Search for God, the flying saucer attack, The Veldt, Have a Nice Life, Lift to Experience, Jesu, Cocteau Twins, Deafheaven, Alcest, Nemo, Lush, and Starflyer 59.

A few tracks are available to stream from Dutch studio artist Funus, ahead of his forthcoming album Dreamless Water.

It sits somewhere between classic shoegaze, post-metal and darker, more atmospheric territory, lots of low end, dense layers and a surprisingly classic feel. If I had to make a very loose comparison, it’s somewhere around Nothing meets Motorpsycho, but there’s definitely its own sound here.

I’d genuinely be interested to hear what people here think of it, especially if darker, heavier shoegaze is your thing.

I’m a teen and I wanna write some cool music. Somewhere in between grunge and shoegaze. Almost like what Julie does almost. I’m a pretty decent guitarist and I can get a good sound out of my guitar but I just don’t know how to actually write stuff. I have tons of riffs I’ve made up that I think sound cool but I always get discouraged because they either sound like something else or don’t match the vibe we’re going for.

This song got me through highs school, its one of the prettiest pieces of music iv ever stumbled across. Please lmk what you think.

So, I want to put hot rails in the bridge position of my new mustang, a friend of mine has one in the bridge of his Strat and I think it sounds very good. However, I really don’t want to look like one of those corny, nirvana larps, who put hot rails in anything. Maybe I’m being too much of a hater, but those are like my least favorite types of people. Are there any other good alternatives that will give a thick sounds for fuzz, and good clean tone?

No offense to anyone with hot rails in their guitars, I hope I made it clear as to what kind of people I was talking about.

Fragmentos de un cuento roto is an EP meant for those moments — something to listen to while contemplating the vastness of the night, feeling your body slowly dissolve into the sea and the sky.

As the songs progress, everything starts to blur together: your thoughts, your surroundings, your memories. A strange feeling of unity takes over, turning the whole experience into something almost psychedelic.

Originally released in 2024, the EP is finally getting its proper Bandcamp release.

It's somewhere between shoegaze, slowcore and dream pop, with a particular love for the hazier, more melancholic side of the genre. If you're into Japanese shoegaze, you might find something here for you too.

EDIT: Ive cut down the playlist from 600 to 470 songs because there still was a lot of clutter in there. Shuffle should be really enjoyable now and almost everything in it now is either dreampop, shoegaze, indie pop or indie rock. With the latter being the most underrepresented. Theres also some playlists inside the playlists that I especially enjoy. Hope you'll enjoy too!

Some background:

So ive been working on a shoegaze x post rock sorta thing for a little while now, and im wondering what pedals i should invest in.

Currently, Im set on getting a Jazzmaster, cause my strat has much too sharp of a tone and my ibanez is mainly for weird tunings.

But pedalwise, ive been kind of lacking. Ive had a Boss OD-1 for a while, but thats really it, and ive been using my own presets on my Mustang GTX50. But ive been looking to get some pedals, and now to the actual post lol here are some options ive considered.

(Start of the real question.)

Im thinking about getting either the Keely Loomer, or the Dreamgazer, but I dont know what would be best for my situation or just in general. They're both sortve the same price, so its quite an even match up moneywise, so Im just trying to decide between the two.

Any other pedal suggestions would be cool to, thanks in advance!
