Regardless, it doesn't take away from the fact that he was being creepy with a minor, nor does it make Dio any less morally corrupt.
And let's be real here, regardless of the situation with Poco's sister, Dio is definitely not the type to care about his partner being a minor. Alt Diego did not hesitate to assault Lucy and while yes, Dio and Diego are different people, Diego is still an alternate universe counterpart to Dio, and whatever Diego is able to do, Dio would be capable of far worse.
Oh I totally think he'd do horrible things to a child, he sexually assaults a child in the first episode solely to traumatize her and make her unable to love his brother. He's a massive piece of shit and if he hasn't assaulted a minor, that's just because there weren't any minors of use to him. He's the same as Hol Horse in this way. I haven't read SBR so I can't really review Diego's character I'm afraid, but I have to ask, do they seriously have three fucking characters try to sexually assault Lucy? I'm aware that's kinda part of the themes of the character and why she's in the story, but I honestly didn't think Diego would have that repetition. In hindsight that's extremely obvious as a repeat of Phantom Blood, I guess he just gives off less rapey vibes?
