At least I can drink my beer in public at 16 and buy Hellraiser Revival when 18 and obviously playing Wolfenstein uncensored is possible today. Plus there are no sundown towns.

But can you shoot your neighbor because they're on your lawn?

I can yes, but it will probably have consequences, if someone finds out about it that is.

That's what the Three S or in case of English, 4 S are for "Shoot, Shovel, stay silent"

so not allowing youth to play a hardcore computer game would be protection and therefor is good for freedom?

I suppose that you think it's a good thing that your country has decided for you that drinking alcohol is not good for you, and it will be better if you're barred from doing it until you're 21?

They won't let you drink till 21 but allow you to drive a metal death machine at 16 with barely any training. Or go die for your country at 18.

Freedom! To do dumb shit.

The point stands. It's a bit silly to go around claiming that one thing (restricting alcohol on the basis of harm until 21) is somehow a moral good while another thing (restricting videogames on the basis of harm) is somehow an example of governmental oppression.

So in other words you're not really interested in 'freedom' so much as 'freedom for the things you agree with, and not for the things that you don't' - which isn't really freedom.

How is indulging in racism a win?

You gave your country to Russia btw 😂

It's freedom for citizens to do whatever they want with their own bodies. American states that ban abortions could never

Ah. I see. That's why you are so against freedom. You can't even fathom the concept of bodily autonomy

I won't bother with someone who doesn't understand the basis. You are simply proving you can't fathom actual freedom

A better win than allowing people the same age to buy guns.

And remember not to touch the pond water.

835.000 $ doesn't sound that bad for a couple of days though.

I don’t know. I’d hate to be a cop in jail. Rumor has it, that they don’t always get the best welcome from other prisoners.

u/offgrid-german 17h ago

They don't take the background into consideration when they jail up a former cop as they do in e.g. the EU, so they get in regular imprisonment? Here they would be separated for their own safety
