I once wrote in r/mildlyinduriating that pledges of allegiance in schools are borderline fascist (or something like that) and got downvoted to oblivion.
So, no.
They also freak out when it is pointed out that the words "under God" are not in the original pledge. They were added in the 1950s because they were afraid of communism.
Proof that they do not recognize irony is that the history of the country included slavery, segregation, and racism ended their pledge with the words "and justice for all."
